Gillespie Nimble FAQs

What is Gillespie Nimble?

Each Gillespie Nimble course is a three-part learning experience. The first part of the experience includes scenario-based eLearning courses. Each course explores issues common to today’s business professional. Through the use of interactive, engaging, and realistic scenario-based activities, learners develop a set of skills that are immediately applicable to problems in their work lives.

To increase the learning, for the four weeks of each Gillespie Nimble course experience, the learner will engage with bi-weekly practice scenarios – the second part of the Gillespie Nimble experience. These scenarios are called Nibbles and provide the learner with spaced practice of the skills developed in the eLearning course. The repeated opportunity to practice, with time between each session, is shown to increase the development of new skills and habits.

Through exploring the bi-weekly Nibble scenarios, learners have the opportunity to interact with the Gillespie Nimble Learning Community – the third part of the Gillespie Nimble course offering. Within the Gillespie Nimble Learning Community learners can interact with one another, sharing ideas and solutions to the Nibble scenarios. They can also participate in discussion forums, read blog posts from various subject matter experts, ask questions of those same experts, and contribute to subject-specific wiki pages.

In addition, participants will receive tips, checklists and recommended reading lists throughout the program.

The three parts of the Gillespie Nimble course offering provide a well-rounded and complete learning experience for the participant.

Anyone who is new to the role of manager, supervisor, or team leader will gain new skills through this program. If you have transitioned to your new management role within the last 30 days, are newly promoted, or are preparing to move into management, this is the program for you.
